This section tells of our poor little sick and challenged Fuzzies, that like our Tessa, who have fought the good fight and are now at the Rainbow Bridge. It also tells of our little fighters trying to show us their unconditional love for a little while longer.

Sadly Tessa has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. She arrived at Father Natures so flea infested that she was anemic from the blood loss. This poor little baby was riddled with cancer and suffered from Insulinoma, which caused her to have frequent seizures. Soon after arriving here she lost the use of her back legs and we started to design a cart for her to get around. After weeks of trying to make her comfortable and know at least some time with folks that loved her, she looked up at me as if to say poppa, I've had enough. She was in too much pain to let her suffer and she gently passed in my arms.

Dear Tessa,

we will meet again someday, and even though you were here with us at Father Natures a short time, you captured our hearts.

We have started the Tessa fund to help other ferrets in the same condition. If you would like to help, contact us at fnferretrescu@cs.com, or click the donation button in this area.
Checks can be made out
to Lyndhurst Animal Hospital and sent to Father Natures Ferret Rescue, 33
Fifth St. Wood Ridge New Jersey 07075.

Blondie Boy

Blondie Boy

Blondie Boy came to us in serious need of medical attention. He is for sponsor only, so if you can please help by donating to his surgeries we are sure he will do a little dooky dance for you once he is better. UPDATE Blondie Boy underwent surgery and is in for a long slow recovery. Dr. Mecheal found 2 tumors inside, one on each adrenal gland and did what could be done. Blondie will need to be on medication for the rest of his life, but seems to be putting on some weight. Please say a little prayer for him. UPDATE Blondie Boy has porked out quite a bit and his back legs are much more stable. His hair is coming back slowly and he looks a bit like a porcupine. He loves his Father Natures Duck Soup and gets out to explore and interact with the rest of the Fuzzies. We want to thank those fine folks that have donated to BBs recovery, every bit helps. Sadly, our Blondie Boy has lost the battle and now lives at Father Natures Cottage, just this side of the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss you my little Scooter...
