Surrendering a Fuzzy
We are Father Natures Ferret Rescue in Wood Ride, New Jersey. Our mission is to find forever, loving homes for our fuzzy friends. You can view our adoptable ferrets here, on www.petfinder.com or you can contact us from this site.
We understand that people sometimes do not find out that a ferret is not for them until they get the little guy or gal home. We also understand that unforseen lifestyle changes prevent people from devoting the time that their ferrets need. This is where we come in.
We have had great success placing ferrets in forever homes with experienced ferret parents. You can rest assure that our placement homes will provide everything a ferret needs for a happy healthy life. We do ask that all surrenders be up to date on Rabies and Distemper vaccinations as well as ADV testing. If your ferret is not, please contact us anyway, as we might still be able to help get them up to date at a reduced cost. With the currant financial climate and an overwhelming amount of surrenders, we may ask you to hold on to your fuzzy for some time, until we can make room for them here. Most city and county run shelters do not accept ferrets and those that do, many are "kill shelters". Please bear with us if we ask you to wait for room to open up.
